CRISP SETS
1)A crisp set is any program that organized data into neat category where each data can belong to one, and only one category. 2) Crisp set that we have to use most of our life.In crisp set elements are member of the set or not.
3) The conventional machine uses crisp sets to take care of concepts like fast and slow speech.
4) Its related to crisp value there by forming members that either belong to a group or do not belong to it.
Example
slow = { 0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40}
5) we could mean a crisp set that says that when the value of speed is equal to either of those mentioned in the set then the speed is categorized as slow.
6) This may be modified to a closed interval [0,40] to include the complete range of values.
7)When the speed crosses over to 40.1 it will be categorized as not slow or we can say it may be fast, Likewise 39.99 will be slow.
8)It is thus easy to visualized that a physical system which has to apply the brakes when the speed is fast and release when otherwise, could continuously keep jerking if the speed oscillates in the interval [39,41] , this situation that could eventually causes ham and subsequent damage.
9) In such situation , we have to think of some alternative to a crisp set definition of speed.
